5007NLK Circular Saw Review
This left-handed circular saw from Makita is light in weight but has plenty of power
This left-handed circular saw is lightweight and compact, but it has big-saw features and power. (It is a mirror image to the right-handed version, the 5007NHK.) The adjustments are good, beveling from 0 degrees to 50 degrees with a little switch that sets the stop at 45 degrees. This saw has the same lightweight aluminum baseplate as its cousin, the 5037NBK, but that is not as much of a liability with this saw because it is three pounds lighter. Blade changing is easier than on most saws, and the saw fit neatly in its case. It is, however, expensive.
