This vent is constructed of galvanized and powder-coated steel

Dryer vents aren’t very sexy, but at least the Dryer Wall Vent (around $23; dryerwallvent.com) is remarkably well built. Constructed of galvanized and powder-coated steel, the vent features hidden fasteners. Its single damper is outfitted with rubber bumpers for silent closing and magnets to prevent pest intrusion and negative-pressure flapping. It’s available in white, brown, and tan.
