ClearMirror has expanded its ShowerLite offerings to include a 12 in. by 24 in. version of the light-equipped fog-free shower mirrors. The original 12 in. by 12 in. version was released in 2013 and the new longer model is available now. These mirrors feature glowing light strips and heating and are designed to be mounted directly in tiled showers.
The mirror is designed to be thin enough for easy flush mounting with the tile surface of the shower. The side-lit LED light panels and heating pad readily connect to a low-voltage system or a switched outlet. The design is patented, made in the USA and carries UL, C-UL and NY City BEC approvals. It has also been tested to CSA standards. A direct plug-in 24-volt power supply is included. The mirror heats to 102°F and takes approximately three to fives minutes to heat for the best defogging results. The ShoweLite product arrives fully assembled. Thew 12 in. by 24 in. model is said to be available for $795 directly from ClearMirror.
