Andrew Dey
As a Boston-based contractor in the early 1990s, Andrew Dey had a chance encounter with Benson Woodworking. Soon after, he joined their team as a project steward. In 1999, Andrew and his wife, Annette, moved into their new house, a timber-frame raised traditionally with the help of friends and family. Their slow but steady progress toward completion reflects Andrew’s desire to have the details be just so and Annette’s desire for the house to be just finished. They also spent three months in Sri Lanka building homes for families displaced by the tsunami.
