Second Floor Room Addition to a Ranch
These customers needed a master bedroom with a private bath and a large walkin closet. We solved their problem by going up and removing the roof to find this needed space. The windows were kept as gables in the roof so it would not look like a box was dropped on the top of this ranch. We also added a covered porch which made the house much more inviting. On the new second floor, there is a spacious loft area plus the master bedroom, bath and walkin closet.

The entire roof was removed and new floor joists installed and then framed just like a new home
