Whenever you are using electrical (PVC) tape to wrap wire connections, rope ends or
repaired power cords, just swab the end of the tape with PVC pipe cement. This will keep it from coming unstuck and unwinding.

Great tip, especially for the tape on trailer wiring which is prone to unwinding over time. (Yeah, I know, just use heat shrink tubing.)
