I’ve been cussing my spray-stucco hopper for years because it has to be propped up or set in a bucket every time I put it down for a refill or change its position. Then I saw a folding camp stool in my pile of aluminum recycling scraps. I cut the rivets that held the two halves of the stool together and attached one pair of legs to the hopper with pipe hangers and a couple of pop rivets (see drawing). The tight-fitting hangers hold the legs in any position, and now my hopper sits wherever I put it, like a good dog.
