I recently did a project that involved installing quite a few 1/4-in. by 3-in. screw hooks into the ceiling joists. Even with predrilling, putting the hooks in by hand was time-consuming. The hook wrench I came up with (see drawing) to speed installation worked better. Using it, I could twirl the hooks in with one finger.
