When I installed a new partition wall in an old house, the irregular gaps between the ceiling and the wall were a real eyesore. The typical fix around here for this problem is to fill the gaps with drywall mud, let it dry and then finish the inside corner with paper tape. But I tried something different on this job. I used flexible paperfaced metal drywall bead folded to an inside corner. This material quickly gave me a crisp angle without lots of filling.
