As a carpenter who does primarily finish work, I go through a lot of yellow glue. The only economical way to buy it is by the gallon. Of course, you have to pour it into a smaller glue bottle to use it. Like most carpenters, I have a problem with losing the little cap that comes on small glue bottles. So the empty mustard bottle that turned up in our kitchen is the ideal glue bottle for my money. Plastic mustard bottles come in different sizes, and the cap is integral with the nozzle. Just give it a twist to open or close the bottle.
To be safe, I wrapped the bottle with duct tape and prominently labeled it as a glue bottle. That way I won’t have some momo framing carpenter accidentally squirting what he thinks is a gob of mustard on his lunch meat.
