Whenever I’m drilling sheet-metal ducting for screws or rivets, the drill bit raises a burr that prevents the heads from sitting flush with the metal. My solution to this problem is to mount a round-head machine screw with a slotted head in the chuck of my drill. Used as a reamer, it quickly and cleanly deburrs the holes.
