The last time I had pictures to hang, I carefully opened the blister pack of hooks, eyelets and tiny nails. Parts jumped out of the bag as though charged by some mysterious energy source, fell onto my workbench and gravitated toward a magnetic key box awaiting assignment to my van’s undercarriage. The implication did not escape me. Now I carry a magnetic key box affixed to the lid of my toolbox. I use it not only for keeping small loose screws and washers together but also for picking up spilled nails and screws, or tiny, hard-to-grab parts.
