It’s easy to haul cable through conduit if you’ve got a string or a rope to attach to the cable. But first you’ve got to get the string through the conduit. Try this. Attach a length of builder’s nylon string to an appropriately sized rag or plastic bag. Place it in the conduit opening, and use a vacuum cleaner to suck the rag through the conduit. You’ll be surprised to see how fast the string will pass through a 100-ft. conduit. If the cables are larger than say, cable-TV wire, use the string to pull a rope. Then use the rope to pull the cable.
