On those occasions when I have to replace an electrical cord on a power tool, I have found that I can use an extension cord instead. I purchase one of the appropriate length, gauge and grounding capacity, and then I cut off the female end and make the appropriate connections. This option is almost always cheaper than buying a factory replacement, and I can get longer cords than are typically available.
