Most aerosol cans of solvents and lubricants come with a piece of plastic tubing for directing the can’s contents into hardto-reach areas. In my experience, the tube is soon lost. A simple way to keep the tubing with the can is to bore two holes in the cap with an awl or a drill bit, as shown in the drawing. Slide the tubing through the two holes. Chances are that the tubing will bend slightly because the holes aren’t precisely aligned. The bend in the tube is enough to keep it safely stored in the cap.
