During a recent kitchen-remodeling project, I installed a faucet that includes a spout that pulls out to become a spray nozzle. Every time I pulled on that spout, its hose (or its weight) would catch on a different pipe fitting or valve handle under the sink. Then once I got the hose extended, it refused to drop back gracefully into its position of repose.
To solve this problem, I slipped the loop of hose into an 18-in. long section of 4-in. ABS pipe. Then I wedged the ABS pipe into its position under the faucet, simply resting it on the cabinet floor. The pipe acts as an obstacle-free chase, allowing the hose and its weight to travel along freely. No more tangles.

good idea I have also used pipe insulation up the pipe and over the valve to keep in obstruction free under the sink.
