Every job site needs a temporary phone. As soon as you install it, however, it will be in the way of something — insulation, drywall, plumbing — you name it.
Instead of attaching the phone to the framing, we take a different approach. As shown in the drawing, we attach the phone to a 5-ft. piece of 1×8 and simply lean it against the wall. Now it’s a snap to relocate the phone.
