I think the most frustrating splinters are those microscopic ones that you can’t see. They’re too small to spot with a magnifying glass and too short to pull out with tweezers. But a little glue works wonders. Choose a nontoxic white glue such as Elmer’s, and smear some over the area that’s bugging you. Wait a few minutes until the glue has hardened, and then peel it off, glue, splinters and all. It works.
