This router is comfortable to use and was our pick of the four midsize plunge routers we tested. It has a one-wrench bit change and a functioning dust port, and its micro-depth-adjustment knob really works. The plunge-lock lever is easy to use during operation, the trigger switch and locking button require no effort at all, and the plunge action is smooth and strong. Bosch’s template guides are handy and don’t require any tools. The depth-stop turret has eight positions, none of which is adjustable. The plunge depth is only 2-1/4 in., and the optional fence is average. Still, this is a wonderful tool for the price.
