Gaggenau Lift Oven
New and noteworthy staff picks from the 2007 International Builders' Show
Editor Kevin Ireton found just what he’d been looking for in the Gaggenau Lift Oven: “It’s a great idea. A small wall-mounted oven that loads from the bottom by means of a door that comes down from the oven cabinet. Kinda hard to explain, but watch the video clip and you’ll understand. I’m thinking that if I put one on the wall next to the chair where I watch football, I can make a pizza and not miss the game, and then on the other side of my chair, I’ll get one of those little refrigerators for beer…”
The Lift Oven is expected to be available mid-summer at a price of around $3300. For more info, visit Gaggenau’s Web site: www.gaggenau.com/US_en/Home.do

The title says 2007. Is that supposed to say 2017?

I dont think it is a mistake this oven has been out for years. I have seen several bad reviews on it. The lift motors dont seem to last, and the size limits what you can cook. You can forget a full size Thanksgiving turkey.
