CanCap is an inexpensive and ingenious product that keeps paint and ceiling texture out of recessed-light cans during construction, allowing you to avoid tedious overhead masking. Available in standard sizes, these reusable plastic covers friction-fit into the rough can. For safety, they can be installed only after the lightbulb in the can has been removed.
