If you’ve already remodeled everything but the kitchen sink, it might be time to feast your eyes on Lansen’s new Elite series and think about calling a plumber.
The straight, vertical sides and zero-radius corners of the Elite series sinks give you large work areas, and the undermount installation coupled with a 2-in.-wide tapered top edge makes it a cinch to wipe spills off the counter and into the sink.
Each sink is coated with a finish that the company claims will remain free of watermarks. It can be cleaned in the direction of the grain with a nonabrasive cleanser to blend and reduce scratches. The sinks also come outfitted with pads and a special soundabsorbent coating on the underside to help eliminate the noise commonly experienced with a metal sink. The tapered-edge sink is available in double-bowl and single-bowl configurations. Straight-edge sinks and a farmhouse-style apron front are also available. While these sleek sinks aren’t inexpensive, they come with a lifetime warranty.
