This video, shot at Hippo Hardware in Portland, Ore., introduces a zany cast of characters who passionately save and restore antique lighting and kitchen and bath fixtures. Company co-founder Steve Miller says that he believes that the used objects within his store are like batteries which absorbed the life around them during their first installation and now are ready to give back that energy to their new owners.
