The on/off switch on my tablesaw is the style with the on button recessed and the off button proud of the faceplate, but I still often find it hard to distinguish the buttons by feel when I’m holding a piece of wood after a cut and keeping an eye on the blade. To solve the problem, I cut a circle of 40-grit sandpaper and glued it to the face of the off button. Now it’s easier to find the off switch with my fingers.
