WSJ 850-ET Jigsaw Review
This jigsaw from Hilti has a unique onboard dust collection system
Despite being Hilti’s first jigsaw, the WSJ 850-ET was the smoothest-running of the 12 tools we tested. It ejects spent blades, which can save you from burning your fingers. But its blades aren’t as easy to insert as in some other saws. The saw’s large size, poor blade visibility, and lack of onboard storage are disadvantages. It has a unique onboard dust collection system. Attaching a compact dust receptacle to the back of the saw engages a secondary fan with the motor’s driveshaft. This system’s performance proved every bit as effective as a shop vacuum.
