28640 Reciprocating Saw Reveiw
This reciprocating saw from Craftsman can articulate, making possible cuts in confined, hard-to-reach places that are roadblocks for other saws
Nearly identical to the Porter-Cable 9750 TigerClaw, this saw stands out from the rest of the saws tested because it can articulate, making possible cuts in confined, hard-to-reach places that are roadblocks for other saws. This saw receives no high marks for cutting speed or handling, but the barrel-shaped end can spin 360 degrees–positioning the blade at any angle to the body of the saw–and the elbow in the middle of the body hinges 90 degrees in either direction. In addition, the rear handles rotates 360 degrees. As a bonus, the small nose makes it easy to get a firm grasp on the business end of the saw.
