D25304K Rotary Hammer Review
The compact length of this rotary hammer from DeWalt is an advantage in tight places
This rotary hammer is the second-lightest machine we tested, although light weight is not always an advantage with rotary hammers. Its compact length, however, is definitely an advantage in tight places. It includes a quick-change removable SDS chuck and a 1/2-in. three-jaw chuck. At a maximum of 1 in., this tool has the lowest capacity of the rotary hammers we tested, although since 85 percent of holes drilled in residential construction are 3/4 in. or smaller, this will rarely be a disadvantage. It was loud and appeared to labor during our hole-boring test. In addition, we found it too easy to drill too deep with the plastic depth stop.
