DW368 Circular Saw Review
A good performer with excellent sightlines, this circular saw from DeWalt features a great bevel detent system
Overall, this saw is smooth and powerful. Its 15-amp motor operates at 5,800 rpm, and it is sturdier than the DW359, making it a good choice.
The base of the DW368 is strong and flat, and is made of a die-cast magnesium alloy. The saw’s bevel-adjustment knob is in front, and the depth adjustment is to the right of the handle and next to the blade housing. The saw can be set to bevel slightly more than 56 degrees, with detents at 22-1/2 degrees and 45 degrees. It can, however, cut through 2x stock only to about 50 degrees.
My only real criticism of this saw is that the forward grip seems too small, which limits its usefulness, especially while retracting the blade guard.
