We used the NiCd battery with this cordless reciprocating saw, but had we used the available NiMH battery, we suspect that the poor run time and cutting distance of this saw would have been improved. The charger handles 7.2v to 14.4v NiCd/NiMH Makita batteries. The saw comes with three blades and a plastic case.
