PlugGrip Electrical Tool Review
The PlugGrip puts a handle on an electrical receptacle
I never liked electrical work–drilling holes and all those wires. As if that weren’t bad enough, there’s the possibility of getting zapped. But when I renovated houses, I had to remove and replace wiring, switches and receptacles. For installing receptacles, the PlugGrip is at least more convenient for do-it-yourselfers and may save professionals time–assuming that you have more than a few receptacles to install.
The PlugGrip puts a handle on an electrical receptacle. Once the PlugGrip is plugged into the receptacle, it’s much easier to maneuver stiff wires in or out of the outlet box. And even though it shouldn’t be used in place of a tester, the PlugGrip has a pair of small lights that indicate whether the receptacle has power.
