Stabilicers Review
Stabilicers strap-on ice cleats rely on 17 replaceable studs distributed along the outside edge of each rubber sole to provide lots of traction without any worries about foot roll.
I’ve had my share of butt-bruising falls on snow- and ice-covered job sites. I tried to remedy the situation with a number of boot-traction gizmos. Most felt unstable, and some didn’t even offer traction. Then I discovered Stabilicers, a pair of flexible rubber soles that strap onto my boots with two heavy-duty 1-in. hook-and-loop webs. Each sole has 17 hardened-steel studs around its perimeter.
