Bending Flat Seam Copper Roof Panels

Little tricks during the bending process ensure a tight fit

Using a brake, roofing contractor Patrick Sheeley bends copper sheets into panels that form a standing seam roof. In this video, he shows you how to use an alternative to tin snips to cut the panels, and how to fine tune the bends so they interlock tightly.
