This Roof Grows Greener

Learn how planting a roof can help fight global warming

This Portland, Maine-based architect took advantage of a long Labor Day weekend and installed a green roof on an urban conversion. The effort added to the long list of technologies and improvements that earned this downtown Portland building a LEED for Homes certified remodel rating.
