16-Ga. Finish Nailer Roundup, Part Two
Secondary features worth considering when choosing a finish nailer
What features do you look for when shopping for a finish nailer? In this video, Rick Arnold enumerates what he considers secondary features of the more than a dozen finish nailers he evaluated for Fine Homebuilding. Rick makes some valuable recommendations here. For example, if you work with a lot of stain-grade material, go with an oilless nailer. If you tend to keep your nailers for years, you’ll need one that clears a jam easily because more jams tend to occur as guns age. You also might value a nailer with a lock-out function that prevents dry-firing on millwork.
