No more fussy framing or tedious trimming required to dress up an unfinished post. With VersaWrap, all it takes is a bit of gluing, and you’ve gone from plain, pressure-treated post to well-clad column.
VersaWrap from Versatex is a one-piece cladding system for square support columns that eliminates fitting together four individual pieces of cellular PVC when wrapping structural posts. The four factory-mitered sides, reinforced by tape, fold around the post and lock together with a friction-fit joint. Installation is easy: Add glue in the joints, wrap the assembly around the post, and peel the protective tape off the corners.
VersaWrap is designed for any structural wood post, including those used on porches, decks, pergolas, lampposts, or mailboxes. It’s available in 4-in. by 4-in. and 6-in. by 6-in. sizes and in lengths of 8 ft. 6 in. and 10 ft. A 10-in. square base/cap can be added to the top or bottom of the post; additional Versatex moldings can be used to enhance visual appeal. The smooth surface can be painted with latex paints. VersaWrap comes with a 30-year transferable warranty.
