Scaffold Shelter
Create a dry cutting station with this quick and simple scaffold shelter.
When construction starts, there’s sometimes no dry place to set up the cutting station. In this situation, I set up one section of scaffolding with just one of the cross braces. As shown in the drawing above, I jam a couple of 2x2s in the front posts of the scaffolding and affix a crossbar to their tops. Then I attach a crossbar to the back posts and throw a tarp over the whole thing so that water sheds toward the back. Now I can drape a couple of planks over the ladder rungs for a dry workplace.
