How To Clean a Small Paint Roller Without Clogging Your Sink
Use a modified paintbrush spinner for quick, no-mess cleanup.
Don Mathis from Macomb, IL writes:
I have found the little paint rollers made by Rubbermaid to be really handy for reaching behind pipes, for touching up, and for blending the edges of newly painted surfaces. But they are hard to clean.
The drawing shows how I now use a paintbrush/roller spinner to clean the little rollers. The adapter consists of a 1/2-in. dowel, which is inserted into the jaws of the spinner. The roller fits on the other end of the dowel, which has a couple of wraps of electrical tape to create the right fit with the roller.
Find the drawing Don mentions in the original tip from Fine Homebuilding Magazine.
In this video, Chuck Miller successfully substitutes blue painter’s tape for the electrical tape.

I like the spray with a jet stream water hose method. To me at about $2.00 each they aren't worth the time to clean.
now you have a bucket of thinned red paint...where do you dump that?
Also...why is unrelated material posted here? personal advertising of sandals etc does not belong here. ..who checks what is posted?
