Thank goodness we decided the winner of our Father’s Day photo contest would be chosen at random—it would have been impossible to choose a winner any other way. The photos prove we’ve got an enthusiastic group of boys and girls—some still in diapers—ready to strap on a tool belt and with dad’s, grandpa’s or uncle’s guidance, tackle any building, remodeling, or repair task that come their way.
Congratulations go to Tony Clark for his winning entry “Supervising Dad’s Work.” The Bostitch tools and tool bag valued at over $250 should come in handy as he and his little future homebuilder together tackle their home renovation and repair projects.
And even though they weren’t selected for the grand prize, all the contributors to the Father’s Day contest are winners in our book. We’re sending each junior homebuilder an official Fine Homebuilding hat and Dad our latest publication “The Best of Fine Homebuilding: Essential Building Skills.” Thanks for sharing your great photos and experiences.
To all celebrating the joys of child-rearing this Sunday, Happy Father’s Day from your friends at Fine Homebuilding.
PS: Still don’t have a gift for Dad? Check out our great selection of homebuilding, woodworking, gardening, cooking and grilling books and DVDs in the Fine Homebuillding store.
