When removing a toilet, it’s always tricky to get that last bit of water out of the S-trap and to keep whatever is left from spilling onto the floor as you move the toilet. Oatey sells a solution in the form of a nontoxic powder called LiquiLock. Pour it into the bowl, and the remaining water solidifies into a gel. Once the toilet is back in place and the supply lines are reconnected, the gel can be cleared with the first flush. One $3 packet will handle a 1.6-gal. toilet; two packets are needed for a 3.5-gal. model.
