By combining handsfree and temperature-control technologies with Art Deco inspiration, the Charlotte faucet from Brizo presents modern conveniences in a decidedly retro package.
The collection’s touch-free lavatory faucet features optional SmartTouchPlus technology, which allows users to start and stop the flow of water either by tapping the
spout or by moving a hand within 4 in. of the faucet. (An LED indicator lets users know which mode is active.) The faucet also features Brizo’s TempIQ temperature-control technology. An LED light in the top of the faucet indicates water temperature by changing color from blue to magenta to red. To prevent accidental scalding, the faucet also features a high-temperature limit stop that can be set using a knob below the faucet.
With a flow rate of 1.5 gpm (gallons per minute), the faucet is CALGreen compliant and WaterSense certified. It can be found online for about $500.
