Build a Tool Shed Series: Installing Windows and Doors
Learn the ins and outs of installing windows and doors in this episode of our series How to Build a Shed. Rick takes you from a framed opening to a finished installation with his fool-proof process.
Rick’s straightforward approach when installing windows and doors is easy to follow and replicate. In this episode, Rick installs an on-site built door as well as an already made, previously bought door. Fitting and installing the purchased windows and doors is easy as long as you have prepared the rough openings properly. Building your own door is a more challenging task, but allows for a lot more creative freedom in design. Rick shows how he goes about designing a door as well as aspects of the installation that all doors—no matter the aesthetic—require.
