All-Weather Writing Paper
All-weather writing paper available in different sizes and patterns
Developed in the 1920s for the Pacific Northwest logging industry, Rite in the Rain paper was created as a solution for soggy, illegible paperwork.
This all-weather writing paper is the first and only kind that has survived a long ride in my nail bag, been left at my cutting station in a sudden rainstorm, and even taken a few spills from my coffee cup, all while remaining intact and readable. It’s a great way to mark a cutlist, take a job-site lunch order, or jot down a list for the next trip to the lumberyard.
The paper comes looseleaf, bookbound, or spiral-bound, and in lots of sizes. You also have a choice of paper patterns, including blank, lined, metric grid, isometric grid, and others. All of the products can be ordered at riteintherain.com. The company also makes large-format weatherproof paper for printing building plans.
A point of pride for the company is that in spite of Rite in the Rain’s durability, it can be recycled like ordinary paper, which isn’t the case with synthetic or poly-coated papers.
