If you need to drill holes in small workpieces, you could hold them in your hand and hope that the drill bit doesn’t drill a pilot hole in your palm, but there’s a better way.

This is great! I am a paraplegic, meaning I can't use my legs so I must rely on my arms to push me around in my wheelchair. This clamp idea really helps in freeing up my hands and arms to hold down a small piece of wood for drilling a hole into. Thanks for this great idea!
It also works to get the piece against any fixed object or in a corner, if there's only one to drill. I could see this as great for multiples but watching & using the spin the drilled piece is going to have can help hold it fast
