This past January Fine Homebuilding associate editor Patrick McCombe finshed an 1100 sq.ft. barn workshop and studio space. The fully-finished post-frame building is insulated with salvaged polyisocyanurate and sided with native pine and vinyl. Using his own labor, the building cost $32,000 or about $30 per sq. ft.
