When I photographed this renovated farmhouse this past November I did my best to accentuate its most beautiful and prominent features: great design, warmth, flow and natural lighting. The sun files through the large windows keeping the mudroom bright and cheerful throughout most of the day. The views are abundant, and because of their size and placement the windows allow for a strong connection between the homeowners and the outdoors. The floor gradually transitions from slate in the mudroom to smooth wood in the main living space for a more cozy feel perfectly paired with the newly installed radiant heating system.
