Have you ever started to wind your stringline onto its spool, only to end up with 100 ft. of tangled mess due to the braided nature of the string? I now use a chalkline without any chalk on it to replace the typical spool of string. It’s strong enough to pull on, doubles as a quick plumb bob, is on a superfast reel (Stanley model), and already has a hook on it.
