This table was built from three different species of wood: two inch thick pine board, hand hewn 6×6 hemlock legs, and weighted hardwood bases that were custom milled from one large 8×8 beech nut beam. All of the preserved wood came from a Vermont barn built in 1790. Smaller tables range from 4 to 8 feet in length, and 3 feet wide. Traditional mortise and tenon joinery are typically used. Wood type is optional.
