At Home in the Mountains

With Jupiter and Venus joining the rising moon this past month in the western sky, I was very excited to camp out at dusk with my camera and tripod for a twilight shot.  I liked that I could take the photo from a higher vantage point so I could really show how connected the house was to the mountains in its open hillside setting.  Thank goodness for a breeze because I forgot my bug spray!  The house had been designed based on the elegance and austerity of a Vermont vernacular style.
