People Make the Shot

What always draws me to photogaphing architecuture is seeing how people interact with the spaces. Whether it’s a baseball stadium, elementry school, or small craftsman home like this shot, people give a sense of scale and humanity to the shot. It’s not always possilbe or desired, but when it works it really elevates a shot. A dialog unfolds that’s more about design and build. It tells the story of purpose. Or, in this case, how much a family loves their home.
