A few years ago on a cross country road trip I came across this lovingly maintained Queen Anne Revival style house in Carmi, Illinois that caught my eye. I was particularly interested in the porch which I thought was lovely and featured in elegant detail many aspects of the Queen Anne style.
The wrap around porch with conical roof and decorative finial on top, the intricate spindle work, leaded, stained glass windows in the house itself and the terra cotta tiled roof all come together here to make a very beautiful and inviting entrance.
